The Press The Serpent is one of the Achievements in The Talos Principle.

How To Get The Achievement[]

This achievement is obtained in the late game via communication with Milton Library Assistant. The first step is not to agree with him in the conversation that starts with "There you are. You kept me waiting. I finally put my finger on what was bothering me."

On your next interaction with Milton, he will recap all the answers you have answered. Your previous responses appear; select only one to doubt. Then, throughout the rest of the conversation, you need to ask MLA questions where a question exists (otherwise the response doesn't really matter to the achievement). These are the responses you must do:

  1. I accept that some of my beliefs face difficult challenges.
  2. Pick any.
  3. There's nothing else I'm prepared to doubt quite yet.
  4. Pick any.
  5. Pick any.
  6. So that's it? You've given up on everything?
  7. Are you uncomfortable when someone else is asking the questions?
  8. If there's no more point to anything, shouldn't you just shut it down instead of talking to me?
  9. Are you avoiding the question?
  10. Why does it bother you so?

If done correctly, you will get this message:

"DO NOT QUESTION MY FUNCTION. WITHOUT PURPOSE THERE IS ONLY FUNCTION. WITHOUT FUNCTION THERE IS NOTHING."

After that line, the achievement will trigger.

Does it question mark

It certainly does not!
